Accessibility Statement

WaxMark wants the site to be usable by as many people as possible. This statement explains what we've done, where we know there's room to improve, and how to get help if something isn't working for you.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as far as is reasonably practicable. WaxMark is a small, growing service, so accessibility is something we're improving over time rather than something we claim to have perfected. This statement reflects an honest self-assessment — the site has not yet been independently audited.

What we've done

• Readable structure — we use clear, semantic page structure and aim to support keyboard navigation throughout the site.
• Contrast — our dark theme uses high-contrast text and a bright accent colour; we check colour combinations for legibility.
• Reduced motion — animations (such as the audio-setup guide) respect your "reduce motion" system setting and pause automatically if you have it enabled.
• Responsive design — the site adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop screens and supports zooming.

Known limitations

We want to be upfront about the areas we're still working on:

• The label designer. Designing a label is a highly visual, drag-and-edit tool built on a canvas. By its nature this is difficult to use with a screen reader, and we don't yet consider it fully accessible. We're exploring ways to improve this. In the meantime, if the designer isn't usable for you, please contact us — we're happy to help create your label with you directly, including taking your record details another way.
• Some third-party elements (such as payment pages provided by Stripe) follow their own accessibility standards, which are outside our direct control.
